How to Change MySQL Configuration

This tutorial will show you how to make changes to MySQL configuration.

Open AMPPS Control Panel

Click on Settings button on right side of MySQL

Click on Configuration button which appears after you click on the Settings button

Click on MySQL.conf and the configuration file will open in a text editor

You can make changes in configuration file for example myisam_sort_buffer_size changed from 6M to 8M and save the file

After saving configuration file you will see the message "MySQL Configuration Changed" in the AMPPS control center

Note : Do not forget to restart MySQL for the changes to take effect.
