How To Change Default Text Editor

Open AMPPS Control Panel

Click on Option button which is on the left side of the window, below AMPPS icon (as shown in the image below).

Click on Settings button (as shown in the image below)

On Setting panel enter path of executable file of Text Editor Or browse through file browse option (as shown in the image below)

Click apply to save settings(click yes on confirmation popup).
